Reader Survey for My Gluten-free Kitchen

Whew! More than any previous summer, I can say I am so glad that summer is almost over! While we had a ton of fun earlier this summer, I feel like I spent most of the summer with my referee hat on, dealing with my two boys. They are at THAT stage. At least, it had better be just a stage!

Between vacations, playing referee, carpooling, and an emergency situation with my family, I just haven’t been able to work on my blog much at all this summer. Maybe you were so busy that you didn’t even notice I was gone, but in case you did, I wanted to catch you up a bit.  Those that were following along on Instagram know that I had to take an emergency trip to northern California to be with my family after my father was badly beaten in a home invasion robbery. I so appreciated all of the prayers and words of encouragement from my friends, fellow bloggers, and many of you readers. The whole thing was so traumatic to all of us, and while the physical injuries my father sustained are healing really well now after major surgery, I’m not sure we’ll ever regain the sense of security, privacy, and stability that we had before this event. On my soap box for just a minute, may I encourage you all to lock your doors, consider installing a working alarm with working cameras, and don’t open your door at all to strangers, even if they look like “nice-looking” salespeople.

I have yet to make it through my pile of mail from being gone for two weeks. I swear the pile multiplies each night while I sleep. After I get through that, I’ve got thousands of emails and blog comments to sort through and try to respond. If you have emailed or left a question or comment on one of my blog posts, I’m sorry for the delay in replying! Thanks for understanding.

I was hoping to catch up on it all this past week but had a migraine almost every day. This coming week isn’t looking much better for catching up, as I just found out that my husband’s beloved grandpa passed away late last night. This week we’ll be making a trip to Montana to celebrate his amazing life. I’m so thankful that a few weeks ago, while I was tending to my family, my husband and kids got to visit with great-grandpa one last time. My boys loved their great-grandpa and were blessed to know him.

As I’m gearing up for all of my back-to-school and fall posts, I thought it would be a good time for doing my first ever reader survey. This is your chance to give me input about what you find most helpful or what would like to see on My Gluten-free Kitchen. Filling this out will let me know whether you’d like to see some gluten-free travel recommendations for cities I’ve visited, hear about new gluten-free products I try, homemaking tips, or just stick to mostly recipes. I would so appreciate if you would take just a few minutes of your time to give me your feedback. I promise, it shouldn’t take you more that 4-5 minutes. I tried to make it quick and easy!

Go here to fill out the survey! Thank you!

What a summer it has been for you! Hope things fall into place once school has started, and you can get back to a routine that isn’t crazy. (((HUGS)))
